Journey Onward is a collection of small groups that support the ongoing spiritual and psychological growth of a variety of participants. These were founded by Robert Cornell LMFT to provide programs for spiritual practice by laymen and women and for ongoing training and support for mental health and spiritual counselors.
ENTERING STILLNESS is a meditation group that welcomes participants of all religious beliefs (and none.) What we share is a faith in the power of Silence to help us heal the unhealed and unintegrated aspects of our egos.
BROTHERS ON THE JOURNEY is a small group for men who want companionship on their spiritual journeys. It is small, intimate and each man is an important part of the group. This is a safe place for men to talk about what is really on their hearts and to connect with like minded men.
SOUL WORK is a small group dedicated to the continuing spiritual development of therapists, pastoral counselors, and spiritual directors. Through hands on work with themselves, they also learn new ways of working with their clients and directees.
The future holds much trouble for our human race and our earth island home, most of it caused by our unskillful actions and inactions that are motivated by greed, anger, ignorance, and fear. But if we come together in love and service, we can do much to make our world a better place for us all.
Soul Work
This group is open to Mental Health professionals, Spiritual Directors, Pastoral Counselors, ministers, priests, rabbis, yoga teachers, alternative health practitioners and others involved in similar ways of being of service to others.
All sharing in the group is subject to the strictest rules of confidentiality. Unlike other groups, individual group members are encouraged to form friendships with each other and may be supportive of one another outside of group. This is meant to become a rich community of support for one another.
SOUL WORK groups meet twice monthly for 3 – 3 1/2 hours each meeting. Groups are of both genders and will be no larger than eight members. Times will be as agreed upon by participants but generally will be held on alternate Friday afternoons or Saturday mornings.
The group work follows a regular pattern of Meditation / spiritual practice, Check in, Inquiry Work, Teaching, and discussion period.
Lunch or dinner together after the meetings would be a desirable option for those wishing to become closer.
Cost of attending is $120 per month, payable at the first meeting of the month. It is expected that participants will commit to regular attendance twice a month.
Learning, intimacy, and experience accrue over time and participants should only consider joining if they can commit to a minimum of a full year’s time.
Potential participants will be invited to two meetings and then will need to decide if this is something they would want to commit to or not.

Each of us is on the Journey of Life - a sacred journey. A journey to find our true selves, our vocation. A journey to heal our wounds, and to help heal the wounds of our brothers and sisters and the wounds of our beautiful earth mother that we share.
